BIO
Dr Sam Pannick is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London School of Medicine. He specialises in bowel cancer screening, polypectomy, and the treatment of heartburn, reflux, abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhoea and constipation.
He performs hundreds of endoscopic procedures each year, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, wireless capsule endoscopy, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy.
He is a nationally accredited Colonoscopist for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. Dr Pannick qualified at the University of Cambridge and University College London, graduating with Distinction in Clinical Practice. He holds a PhD in the organisational delivery of medical ward care, from Imperial College London. Dr Pannick has published papers in some of the world’s leading medical journals, including the BMJ and JAMA Internal Medicine, and was a finalist in the UK’s Health Service Journal awards.
