MsSanjana Kakar

Sanjana Kakar is the Senior Communications Officer at the Department of Materials. She is responsible for promoting academic research and initiatives, updating the department's website, orchestrating outreach and communication strategies, and organising departmental events.

Before this, Sanjana worked at the Dyson School of Design Engineering, where she supported communications and engagement activities, helping to highlight the school’s research, innovation, and outreach initiatives.

Sanjana is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and diverse expertise in marketing strategy, communications, and outreach. She earned her MSc in Marketing Strategy and Innovation with First Class Honors from Bayes Business School, London, UK, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of marketing principles and practices, including digital marketing, market research, and brand management.
