RESEARCH
I work at the interface of gravity and cosmology, with the overarching goal of understanding the behaviour of gravity at very large scales. I am interested in modified gravity theories as alternatives to dark energy (especially in light of DESI results) and in testing these theories with gravitational waves and cosmological observations. I am currently working on effective field theories of gravity and the theoretical bounds stemming from positivity and causality, with the goal of finding classes of theories that respect both these and observational constraints.
In the past, I have worked on gravitational wave lensing as a probe of modified gravity, the theoretical viability of bouncing cosmologies, a novel thermodynamical interpretation of the landscape of gravity theories, and testing quantum-gravity inspired cosmological models with cosmological data.
