Overview
Professor Curry has been active in structural and molecular biology research for over thirty years (see publications). His focus is now turning more to the 'business of science'. As well as getting more involved in university affairs, he has written and researched on the inter-related topics of scholarly publishing, research evaluation and funding policy. Significant recent contributions in this area include proposals for journals to publish citation distributions and a historical analysis of the commercialisation of research publishing.
