MrSonjib Chakraborty

I am a visiting researcher at the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis in the Arbovirus Group, School of Public Health, Imperial College London. Working as a full-time researcher at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. My work focuses on environmental and climate‑sensitive health risks, particularly how short‑term weather variability influences mosquito‑borne diseases such as dengue. 

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Modelling at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where my thesis examines spatio-temporal links between mosquito-borne diseases and weather variability. Previously, I completed an MS and BSc in Environmental Science in Bangladesh. Earlier in my career, I worked as a scientific officer at the Center for Atmospheric Pollution Studies (CAPS) and also as a lecturer at Manikchhari Government College in Bangladesh.
