Dr. Soumaya Ben-Aicha, obtained her Doctorate in Medicine and Translational Research with distinction at the University of Barcelona in Spain, achieving an Excellent Cum Laude along with an Excellence award. She also undertook a significant learning experience at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany, where she gained invaluable insights into cardiac electrophysiology and expanded her international professional network.

Transitioning to London, United Kingdom, Dr. Ben-Aicha became affiliated with Imperial College London. Dr. Ben-Aicha's work specializes in Immunology and Cardiology, particularly the study of immune populations within the setting of Coronary Artery Disease. Her expertise also extends to the complex realm of nanoparticles, specifically lipid nanoparticles (High-density lipoproteins (HDL) and Low-density lipoproteins (LDL)), and small extracellular particles.
