BIO

I am a doctoral researcher at the Child Health Unit at the Department of Primary Care and Public Health. Before starting a PhD, I worked in research and data analyst capacity for over eight years at various health research organisations. I have a Masters in Economics with an emphasis on health economics from the University of Edinburgh. I come to the academic scene with enthusiasm, many questions and few answers, if any, so I would like to use this space to cultivate scientific precision.

My PhD is funded by NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Northwest London (ARC-NWL) – Child Population Health. In my PhD, I will analyse fragmentation in children services and search for methods, processes and models that resolve their weaknesses. I will also explore approaches to evaluation of integrated care programmes, and address the challenges faced in such evaluation. Which methods and approaches should be applied? How can the impact of integrated care strategies be explained?

I look forward to being part of a stimulating exchange and creation of ideas at the Child Health Unit’s various forums. I will be working under the supervision of Dr Dougal Hargreaves.
