BIO
Dr Sabrina Rodrigues is a Senior Teaching Fellow and Co-Director of the MSc Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning.
Sabrina has a five year pre-Bolonha degree in Mathematics with a Specialisation in Teaching from the University of Minho, Portugal, an MSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Melbourne, Australia and a PhD in Statistics with applications to Bioniformatics also from the University of Melbourne, Australia. During the last year of her PhD she joined Commonwealth Bank of Australia as an Associate Data Scientist. In 2017 she joined Imperial College to work on disease modelling using advanced dynamic models and data science, with Prof Marc Chadeau-Hyam and Prof Sarah Filippi. In 2019, she left academia to join Newton Investment Management as a Data Scientist to work on thematic investing research. In late 2020 she returned to Imperial College to start her current role. During her non-Imperial time she focuses on her art and family.
