My teaching spans structural engineering, computational engineering, systems thinking, sustainable engineering and digital technologies for civil engineering. I have taught and supported students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a particular focus on linking engineering theory to practical problem-solving, design and emerging digital methods. My teaching approach emphasises systems thinking, project-based learning, critical evaluation and the application of digital tools. I am particularly interested in integrating topics such as Digital Twins, artificial intelligence, structural health monitoring and data-driven engineering into the curriculum, while helping students develop the technical, analytical and communication skills required for contemporary engineering practice.
