I have been Deputy Module Lead for the Year 2 Immunology and Inflammation module in the BSc in Medical Biosciences (BMB), since the first BMB student cohort in 2018. I co-developed this module with Module Lead Dr Ana Costa-Pereira, and Senior Teaching fellow Dr Manuela Mura. I now teach this module with Ana, Prof Cecilia Johanssen and Dr Lydia Durant. Like the rest of the BMB degree, all the teaching is flipped learning course, so I contribute to the writing and updating of the eModules, as well as design and delivery of problem-based group learning sessions face-to-face. I additionally conducting in-course assessment (presentation with viva), and oversee the design and writing of the open-book written exams.

I have been Module Lead for Module 2 (Virus Pathogenesis and Evolution) one of the two core Taught modules for the MSc in Molecular Biology and Pathology of Viruses. (MSc MBPV), since 2022. I also deliver teaching on DNA viruses, (particularly Polyomaviruses, Epstein-Barr virus) for module 1, and wrote and maintain eModules for a number of sections of the course.

I have been a Personal Tutor (now Academic Tutor) for students on Biomedical Sciences, and its successor BMB from 2014 to 2023, and a tutor for students on MSc MBPV since 2021.

I teach on a variety of other courses, mainly on the subject of Viral Oncogenesis, and Epstein-Barr virus in particular, variously using online modules and group exercises with conventional lectures.

I have supervised two PhD students to completion, and over 30 MSc students.
