BIO

My research focuses on precision measurements using ultracold molecules to probe physics beyond the Standard Model.

 

A central motivation for my research is the baryon asymmetry of the Universe, which suggests the existence of additional sources of CP violation beyond those described by the Standard Model.

 

One of the most sensitive probes of physics beyond the Standard Model is the search for the electron electric dipole moment (eEDM). My current research focuses on the development of a next-generation molecular beam experiment using ultracold YbF molecules to measure the eEDM. Recent work has culminated in the first demonstration of the complete suite of techniques required for an eEDM measurement in our experimental platform
