BIO
Dr Ruizhi Zhang is a Research Associate in the Steel Structures Research Group at Imperial College London, and she is currently working on the EPSRC funded project — RESilient Infrastructure using STainless steel (RESIST).
Her research expertise lies in the areas of testing, simulation and optimisation of metallic 3D printed structural members and resilience of steel framed structures.
Ruizhi obtained her PhD in structural engineering from Imperial College London in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Leroy Gardner. Ruizhi has co-supervised a number of undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, and has peer reviewed submissions for technical journals including Thin-Walled Structures and Structures.
