BIO
I am a General Surgery Trainee in the South London Deanery, with a subspecialty interest in Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery. I am passionate about using technology to improve surgical outcomes, which inspired my pursuit of a PhD at the Institute of Global Health and Innovation under the supervision of Professor the Lord Ara Darzi and Dr George Mylonas.
My research focus is on advancing the clinical translation of Dr Mylonas' MAESTRO project. This pioneering platform integrates multimodal data from the operating room to create a new paradigm for surgical teams, using AI to orchestrate, assist, and augment their performance. This has the potential to modernise and progress big data acquisition from the operating room.
