Ralf Martin is a Professor of Economics at Imperial College Business School. In his research he examines the role of businesses in the transition to Net Zero. He conducted research on policies to reduce emissions from the business such as the European Emissions Trading system. He is also particularly interested in the relationship between economic growth during the transition to a cleaner economic equilibrium.
As of September 2023 he is seconded to International Finance Corporation (IFC) where he is developing a research programme on Sustainability and Climate Change.
