DrRosie Maddren

Rosie is an infectious disease epidemiologist, working on the Geshiyaro project in Ethiopia. The project aims to define the "end-game" for soil-transmitted helminth and schistosomiasis transmission elimination in communities with endemic low prevalence. The project assesses the most efficient intervention(s) to reach this goal, including expanded community-wide MDA, and enhance WaSH infrastructure access deployed with behaviour change communication (BCC). As such, Rosie divides her time between Ethiopia (collecting data and overseeing project activities) and London (analysing and writing up data).
