BIO
My research lies at the intersection of geosciences and computational methods, focusing on hazard risk management and the application of machine learning techniques to ocean modeling. I primarily concentrate on the application of probabilistic methods, data science, and numerical modeling to address geoscience challenges, including ocean modeling.
🕒 Wednesdays, 12:00 – 13:00 I’m holding a weekly open-door hour for Ada Lovelace Academy students and alumni. These are informal, 1:1 drop-in sessions where you can discuss: academic questions, career advice, publication support, anything else you’d like to chat about. 🔗 Book a slot in Teams
Scholarship Opportunity: The Department of Earth Science and Engineering (ESE) offers a couple of scholarships for theAda Lovelace Academy. for more detail see here.
I am currently completing an MEd in Higher Education Teaching and Learning, having already obtained the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) and Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip). I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
