BIO
Pete Lally is an Assistant Professor in Magnetic Resonance (MR) Physics in the Department of Bioengineering.
He obtained his PhD at Imperial College London, developing MR spectroscopy techniques for application in the neonatal brain in the initial days following perinatal hypoxic-ischaemic injury.
He is now developing MRI techniques for rapid, high-resolution imaging, with a particular focus on degenerative disease at 3T (Hammersmith Hospital) and at 7T (London Collaborative Ultra-High Field MRI System, LoCUS).
