- Sustainable cities and optimization at different scales; Low energy carbon urban systems; Hydrogen-based technologies transportation; Electric vehicles; CCS (carbon capture and storage) and simulated integration to the existing grid; Simulation of the integration of existing low-carbon infrastructure of urban energy systems (hydrogen-based technologies; traffic flow; Electric Vehicles (EV's); water supply/sewerage network; Mapping of building stock related to the above technologies with the use of simulation tools (CEA, GAMA, QGIS)
- Computational Urban & Spatial Planning: Developing advanced simulation frameworks to model urban infrastructure at both local and regional scales, supporting evidence-based urban regeneration;
- Urban planning of an examined zone in the area of the center of Athens with the help of algorithmic design and methods Optimization;
- Application of the stochastic agent-based optimization method in relation to spatial infrastructure optimization;
