BIO

Dr. Philipp Breul is a Research Associate in the Department of Physics, focusing on climate variability and future change. During his PhD, Philipp was part of the Mathematics of Planet Earth Center for Doctoral Training.

His dissertation project focused on the midlatitude atmospheric circulation and how to constrain its future change from today's observed variability. He was supervised by Dr. Paulo Ceppi and Prof. Ted Shepherd.
