Omer is a Transport Analyst working with the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) at Imperial College London, an applied and academic research division within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. A civil engineer and transport planning enthusiast, with consistent outstanding academic performance and experience in policy, stakeholder and project management, public facing documentation and communications, data analyses and public sector work.
in the TSC, Omer works with the community for metros (COMET) and currently works on developing case studies to further the understanding and operation of public transport authorities performance around the world.
Prior to joining the TSC, Omer worked with Transport for London (TfL), moving between the teams of Strategy & Policy, Investment Delivery Planning, E-scooter trial and Maintenance teams. Omer also has a Master of Science degree (MSc) in the field of Transport and Business Management, from Imperial College London (2020).
