Nan Zhang is a Research Associate at the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) within the Centre for Transport Studies, Imperial College London.
She completed her PhD on causal inference and metro disruption analytics at Imperial College London in 2022, supervised by Prof. Daniel J. Graham. She also holds a first-class MSc degree in Transport from Imperial College London, and a BEng in Traffic Engineering from Southeast University.
Her main research focuses on the development and application of causal inference methods, advanced machine learning techniques, and data-centric engineering approaches. The core aim of her work is to effectively quantify and accurately forecast the impacts of various transport interventions.
