BIO

Dr. Nigel Smith is an astro-particle physicist, Executive Director of the TRIUMF particle accelerator centre in Vancouver, Canada, and Emeritus Executive Director of the SNOLAB deep underground science facility. Since 1992, Dr. Smith has been actively involved in the development and operation of deep underground detectors for dark matter and neutrino research and the associated infrastructures required.
