BIO
Niamh is a postdoctoral research associate researching various omic profiles in patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH).
Niamh completed a BSc in mathematics at the University of Sheffield before developing an interest in applying these skills to genomics. A masters in bioinformatics at Newcastle University naturally followed. Niamh then returned to Sheffield for a PhD where her interest in PH began, investigating the use of machine learning to both classify patient disease status, and detect novel disease regulators in patients with PH.
