BIO

I am a board-certified intensivist in liver intensive care at King’s College Hospital and an honorary postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London. My PhD combined high-fidelity ICU simulation and eye-tracking with conversational LLM experiments to examine how clinicians interact with AI decision support under realistic pressure. The work focused on where human oversight of model outputs holds up, where it breaks, and what explanations do not fix. This has led me towards a broader interest in AI safety, especially the fragile interface between expert judgement and increasingly capable models in safety-critical domains.
