RESEARCH
My charge in the next four years is to bring together cutting-edge FEA software development with prior art in digital twinning, produce a new method for geometry optimisation on this basis, and explore the implications of this new data on the buckling of slender shells in general.
My areas of particular interest are FE theory, structural optimisation, and shell buckling.
