Current Position:
Research Associate at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery and the department of Surgery and Cancer. Enterprise fellow of the Hamlyn Accelerator for Surgical Innovation and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Research interests include the development and clinical translation of surgical imaging systems (both hardware and software). The current focus is on the application of Fluorescence and Hyperspectral Imaging as an intraoperative tumour resection guidance tool in Breast-Conserving Surgery.

PhD in Clinical Medicine Research:
I have completed my PhD in the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery and the department of Surgery and Cancer. This work foccused on the development of surgical imaging devices exploiting mainly the phenomenon of fluorescence to visualise breast cancer. During my PhD, I have developed and clinically translated two such systems.
