DrEunice Wang

Dr Eunice Wang is a Research Associate in the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. She is an epidemiologist specialising in nutritional epidemiology, life-course research and the analysis of large-scale longitudinal cohort data.

Her research focuses on the relationship between diet and cardiometabolic health, with particular interests in ultra-processed foods, dietary quality, obesity, cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. She also investigates the biological, nutritional and socioeconomic pathways through which dietary exposures may influence long-term health outcomes.

Eunice completed her PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London, where she used data from the Whitehall II cohort to investigate long-term dietary patterns, circulating metabolomic signatures and subsequent risks of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and mortality. She previously completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health at the University of British Columbia.

Her current research draws on major UK cohort studies, including ALSPAC and UK Biobank, to examine dietary exposures, childhood adiposity and cardiometabolic outcomes across the life course.
