Min Shan is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Aerospace Environmental Impacts Simulation (AEIS) group in the Department of Aeronautics. Her research focuses on the interactions between climate change, atmospheric composition and air quality.
Her current work investigates how different climate futures, including solar radiation modification (SRM) and stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), may affect regional air quality and the ability of countries to control air pollution through their own emission reductions. Her research uses atmospheric chemistry and climate modelling to understand climate–air quality interactions and their environmental impacts.
