BIO
Michael Nestor is a PhD student at Imperial College, London, under the supervision of Dr Fei Teng. He graduated with the MEng degree from the University of Oxford in 2021. Recent work includes a conference presentation at the Symposium on Systems Theory for Decision Making and Optimization (SysDO) 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany, which focused on data-driven methods to design a communication topology for distributed control without incurring excessive communication overheads. Michael is the chair of the IEEE Student Branch at Imperial and is secretariate to the Global Power System Transformation (G-PST) Consortium Task Force on distributed energy resources. His interests beyond research include hiking, travelling, tennis and music.
