My research interests are:

a) Air quality science: Investigating indoor and outdoor air pollutants (e.g. PM2.5 etc) and their dynamics, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities in sub-Saharan Africa.

b) Ventilation and building physics: Examining how ventilation strategies, airflow design, building design and materials influence indoor environmental quality and occupant health and well-being.

c) Energy efficiency and sustainable buildings: Exploring the integration of renewable energy systems, low-carbon design strategies and sustainable materials to develop high-performance indoor environments.

d) Multidisciplinary approaches: Applying interdisciplinary methods and frameworks to generate robust, impactful evidence in built environment research.
