DrMai Morimoto

I am interested in the visual cognitive abilities of animals and their underlying neural mechanisms. My past research has spanned multiple model species and levels of analysis, including neural circuits in fruit flies, population neural activity in mice, and learning behaviour in bumblebees. My current research aims to apply neuroscience techniques to investigate the neural basis of bumblebees' sophisticated visual cognitive abilities.
