BIO

Research interests

In my group we conduct research to create intelligent systems, which can work autonomously and in collaboration with humans to increase the safety, reliability, and productivity of industrial processes and energy systems. For this purpose, we leverage process modelling, model predictive control, optimization, and machine learning.

Our research has been applied across a diverse range of industries, including gas compression systems, power generation, pulp and paper production, thermal energy storage, and heat pumps. A key objective of our work is to drive the transition to sustainable and zero-emission industrial processes, positioning our innovations to play a pivotal role in the future of industrial operations.
