Visiting Professor at Imperial College London, member of the management team of the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering (Imperial and UCL). Degree in chemistry, Ph.D. in chemical physics and awarded the international Rank Prize in Optoelectronics.
Most of his experience has been in technology-related industry and business, from pre-IPO product and business development, to leading technology operations internationally, to technology investments and M&A, and he has been a long-time advocate of applying systems thinking and dynamics in industry and business. He was founding managing partner of a technology investment bank which grew to operate worldwide, is a partner in a venture capital firm and continues as a new business founder.
