BIO
Melina Jafari has been a PhD student in the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) at Imperial College London since April 2025, supervised by Professor Daniel Graham and Dr. Anupriya. Her research focuses on evaluating the impacts of transport policies and traffic operations on road safety, with a particular emphasis on vulnerable road users. She employs advanced causal inference and data-driven analytical methods to support proactive safety planning in urban environments.
She holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Transport Engineering and Planning from Sharif University of Technology in Iran.
