DrMarcus Fletcher

I am an Imperial College Research Fellow (similar to junior group leader level in europe) hosted by Professor Benoit Chachuat and Professor Paul Freemont, working between the Sargent Centre in the Department of Chemical Engineering, IX Imperial and the London BioFoundry.

My work is on probing the boundary between chemical systems and biological systems through engineering enzyme networks and artificial cell models. To explore these combinatorial design spaces formed by networks of interacting biomolecules, we develop automated microfluidic screenign technology, AI-led lab automation and network theories.
