I am an epidemiologist and infectious disease modeller working across mathematical modelling, field epidemiology, and global health policy, with a focus on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) affecting marginalised populations. My work is particularly concerned with infections that cycle between humans, animals, and the environment, using a One Health approach to connect research, policy, and implementation.
 
I currently hold dual roles as a Research Associate at Imperial College London and Senior Research & Innovation Advisor at Unlimit Health. My work focuses on the epidemiology and control of Taenia solium (pork tapeworm), including support for national mapping and mass drug administration programmes, and co-leading the mathematical modelling work package of SUSTAIN-Uganda, a £2.1 million MRC–FCDO-funded cluster randomised controlled trial.
 

My research spans T. solium taeniasis/cysticercosis, onchocerciasis, and schistosomiasis, with interests in transmission dynamics, intervention modelling, and applied global health research. I have published 23 papers (including 8 first-author and 2 senior-author publications) in journals including The Lancet, PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, eLife, and Scientific Data.

 

I also contribute to NTD policy development through WHO/ESPEN workshops and the International Task Force for Disease Eradication at The Carter Center.
