BIO

Dr. Mattia Corianò is a qualified cardiologist, having completed his specialty training at the University of Padua, were he is currently a PhD student. He recently joined the the Computational Cardiac Imaging group at the MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences, Imperial College London, as Chain-Florey fellow.

 

His work focuses on understanding the role of inflammation in the aetiology of heart disease. By integrating multimodal data —including medical images, multiomics information, and environmental risk factors— Mattia aims to understand mechanism linking inflammatory response to environmental exposure, cardiac remodeling and outcome.


His research is supported by the Medical Research Council.
