BIO

I am an Assistant Professor in the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis. My academic background is in mathematics and statistics; for the last 12 years my research has focussed on modelling the transmission of infectious diseases through human populations. My work spans a broad spectrum: from epidemic response to mpox, COVID-19, to reducing the impact of globally endemic sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhoea. At the core of my research mission is a commitment to bridging the gap between theoretical insights and actionable public health strategies to inform decision-makers and improve health outcomes for all.
