RESEARCH

Leila’s research and practice span design processes, strategic foresight, and sustainable systems. She has led interdisciplinary projects on the circular economy, decision-making in design, and the creation of tools that support reflection, communication, and long-term thinking in innovation teams.

Her work tackles the problems of people, planet and beyond; asking how might the social, natural and formal sciences be harnessed to design a flourishing and fair society? Her approach is interdisciplinary, collaborative and contextual – and the site of most interest is the design process, and the points at which the big decisions about the world we are building take shape.
