BIO
Laavannya Paramanathan is the Departmental Finance Manager in the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI).
Following the completion of her degree in Economics and Politics at the University of Essex, Laavannya joined Imperial College London as a Trainee Management Accountant in the Institute of Clinical Sciences (ICS) department. She has since completed her accountancy qualification and became Finance Officer at ICS, before joining NHLI in April 2019.
In her current role, Laavannya is responsible for the management of the department’s financial activity and working closely with the Head of Department, Departmental Manager and research administration teams to achieve the department's academic and strategic goals.
