I am the Research Manager for the School of Public Health (SPH) and REF Manager for the Faculty of Medicine. As Research Manager of SPH I support the development and submission of research grant applications, I am secretary of the SPH Research Committee, and work with the Head of School on strategic activity and developments. As REF Manager for the Faculty of Medicine I am responsible for the coordination and delivery of the REF submission. In-between submission windows, I am monitoring research impact and developing impact stories and highlights, amongst other things.
