BIO

Laura is the Lead for Improvement Science and Health Improvement at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Northwest London (NIHR ARC NWL) within the Department of Primary Care and Public Health at Imperial College London.

Prior to joining Imperial College in 2011, she worked as a registered nurse in Ontario, Canada and obtained a Master’s in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Laura completed her PhD in the Department of Medicine at Imperial College London in 2019.

Dr. Lennox’s research focuses on understanding how healthcare systems can maximize investments and reduce waste to produce long term change for patient care. She is particularly interested in exploring the process of achieving sustainability and spread in practice and investigating how these processes can be influenced with the use of specific strategies and interventions.
