TEACHING INTERESTS
○ 2022-2026: Engineering Mathematics course (2nd year UG): Partial differentiation, chain rule, stationary points, vector calculus, scalar line integrals, vector line integrals, area integrals, surface integrals, and integral theorems. (4 x 12 hours)
○ 2020-2022: Fluid Mechanics course (3rd year UG): Streamfunctions, vorticity, potential, Stokes flow, Two-phase flows, Non-Newtonian fluids, and Turbulence. (3 × 12 hours)
○ 2018-2020: Teaching Fluid Mechanics using Virtual Reality Environment (Chem. Eng.,Imperial): This involved modelling and running CFD simulations, data management and formatting, and generation of VR input data, followed by production of bespoke slide presentation, which I delivered to Third Year students taking the Fluid Mechanics module in designated VR sessions (for groups of up to 30 students):
- Flow past a bluff body (laminar, transitional and turbulent cases);
- Laminar and turbulent flows in pipes and channels (Poiseuille flow);
- Flows of viscoplastic complex fluids in pipes and stirred vessels;
- Two-phase flows (from simple single bubble rise to complex turbulent, aeration flows);
- Turbulent flow in a square and circular channels.
○ 2012-2013: Teaching Thermodynamics in English at Ecole Centrale d’Electronique: Introduction, definitions, states variable, temperature, ideal gas law, real gases, Vann der Waals gas, work, heat, heat capacity, at constant volume and pressure, first law of thermodynamic (enthalpy, Joule’s expansion and Joule Thompson expansion), second law of thermodynamic (reversible and irreversible processes, entropy, entropy diagramme, heat engines, classical Carnot heat engine, Ericson cycle, thermal efficiency), phase transition, phase diagram, heat engine with
phase transition. (20 hours)
○ 2012-2013: Teaching analysis and scientific computing at Ecole Polytechnique F´eminine: Numerical simulation, Lab. sessions using Matlab. (64 hours).
○ 2011-2012: Teaching mathematics at university Paris-Descartes: Numerical simulation using Scilab, arithmetic, graph theory, linear algebra and analysis. (192 hours).
○ 2010-2011: Teaching numerical analysis and scientific computing at university of Paris-Dauphine: Direct and iterative methods for solving linear systems, integrations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors calculations, solving nonlinear equation, Polynomial interpolation and quadrature
formula. (88 hours).
○ 2007-2010: Teaching mathematics at university of Paris-Sud: Determinant, solving linear systems(Gauss method) vector space, linear dependance or independence, basis, dimension, rank, linear map, set theory, binomial coefficient, logic, functions and matrix. (3 × 64 hours).
○ 2007 2008: Lab. section for Master degree at ENS-Cachan and University of Pierre & Marie Curie, Paris 6: Flow around a wind (NACA 23012), flow inside a tube using LDV (Laser Doppler Velocimetry), Blasius boundary layer flow using hot wire anemometer. (12 hours).
○ 2015-2023: Supervision of Final-Year Undergraduates, MScs and PhDs (Chem. Eng., Imperial): This involved the co-supervision of 10 UGs (average of 20h each) and 14 MScs (average of 30h each) for a total of (620 hours).
