RESEARCH
Overview
Luke's research interests span the interaction between policy, engineering and economics. He has substantial experience in the technoeconomic modelling of emerging low carbon technologies such as green hydrogen and carbon capture, and a key interest in the socio-political constraints to climate mitigation efforts.
His PhD research is focused on the quantitative analysis of the barriers facing climate policymakers in the Global South, drawing o his experience with the economic modelling of low carbon technologies to produce analysis that can be used to inform policymakers across the world.
