BIO
I am currently a PDRA in the Polymers & Microfluidics group. My current research focuses on developing optically white pigments through thermally induced phase separation and soft templating. My PhD work involved investigating flow-induced phase transformations in complex surfactant systems using microfluidics coupled with optical microscopy, SANS, and NMR.
Aside from my research, I have a keen interest in science communication and outreach. I have organized and hosted activities at events such as the Great Exhibition Road Festival and Imperial Lates. I also received an RSC outreach grant in 2023 to explore the intersection between soft matter science, food, and art. Currently, I am working on an outreach project that aims to bring together craft and engineering through a series of workshops in schools across London. If you are interested in getting involved, please feel free to reach out to me!
