BIO
Louis Cohen is a PhD student in the department of bioengineering. In the Dr Claire Stanley group, he investigates interactions between plant roots and mycorrhizal fungi at single-cell resolution using custom microfluidic devices. Louis's PhD studenstship is funded by Leverhulme Institute for the Holobiont, and is aligned with the Grantham Institute Climate Change and the Environment DTP.
Before joining Imperial, Louis earned his undergraduate degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Cambridge, graduating with the top first-class degree and receiving the T.B. Woods Prize.
