DrLuca Boscagli

Luca is a researcher in applied computational aerodynamics within the Department of Aeronautics. His research focuses on quantifying and minimizing the environmental impact of novel engineering solutions. With a strong computational background, he is particularly interested in combining simulations and experiments to develop physical understanding and advance computational methods used in industry.

Luca holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Polythecnic of Milan and a PhD in Propulsion Aerodynamics from Cranfield University.

Since June 2026, Luca has been based in Italy, where he holds a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions European Fellowship at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. He is hosted within the Interdisciplinary Center on Sustainability and Climate.
