BIO
Welcome to my profile!
I am Associate Professor in Power Systems at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and Visiting Researcher at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London.
My research aims to facilitate a cost-effective integration of renewable energies: I develop mathematical models to operate electricity grids and markets efficiently.
For more information, visit my homepage: https://badber.github.io/
Research areas:
- Operation and economics of low-inertia power systems
- Markets for future decarbonised electricity grids
- Convex optimisation of distributed energy resources under uncertainty
- Data-driven methods for power system stability
- Resilience of energy systems
