BIO

Dr Konstantinos Kechagias is a Specialty Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the North West Thames Deanery and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. He obtained his medical degree (MD) from the University of Crete, Greece, and a Master’s degree (MSc) in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from Imperial College London. He subsequently completed a PhD in Clinical Medicine at Imperial College London, funded by the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre and the A.G. Leventis Foundation. His research focuses on the role of the cervicovaginal microbiome in cervical carcinogenesis and the impact of HPV vaccination in women with cervical disease. He is also actively involved in the co-supervision and mentorship of postgraduate and undergraduate students.
