MrsKerri Hill-Cawthorne

Kerri Hill-Cawthorne is the Senior Programme Manager / Head of Operations for the Centres for Antimicrobial Optimisation Network (CAMO-Net). CAMO-Net’s mission is to complement and enhance the existing ecosystem of global programmes designed to alleviate the global burden and impact of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and poorly treated infections by creating and nurturing a sustainable and equitable ecosystem for global research to optimise the use of antimicrobials in humans. It is a research consortium made up of institutes from Brazil, India, South Africa, Uganda, the UK, Ghana, Malawi, Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Timor-Leste.

Previously at Imperial, she was Business Manager for the Centre for Antimicrobial Optimisation and a Researcher Facilitator for the National Institute of Health Research Health Protection Research Unit in Healthcare Associated Infection and Antimicrobial Resistance.

Background

Kerri Hill-Cawthorne has worked at Imperial College since June 2019. Prior to being at Imperial, she worked as Programme Manager for the Marie Bashir Institute for Infectious Diseases and Biosecurity as well as Education Innovation Manager for the School of Public Health, both at the University of Sydney. She has also worked as a Financial Officer for Fairfax County Government (county council) in the United States.

Kerri has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Leadership Studies from Christopher Newport University (US) and a Master of International Public Health from the University of Sydney (Australia).
